About Us

At Wildflower I strive to help caregivers feel empowered in their child’s development. Our sessions are fun and engaging for both clients and caregivers. Caregivers are encouraged to be active participants in therapy.

I also strive to celebrate neurodiversity and every child’s strengths. I truly believe that our differences are what make us special. I accept and honor all forms of communication and presume competence in all of my clients.

Meet the owner

Hi I’m Tess! I am a school-based speech-language pathologist and am so excited to be providing services to my private clients. I received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014. I then went on to earn a Masters of Science at Emerson College in 2016.

I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 2016. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a speech-language pathology license through the state of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

I have experience working in public schools, out-of-district special education schools, and inpatient/outpatient pediatric hospitals. Some of my specialties and areas of interest include speech sound disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
